Why on earth is Good Friday called "good?"
Everybody knows that this is the historical day that Jesus is crucified. Then he is entombed and then he rises from the dead on Easter Sunday.
To be truthful, nobody knows what could be so good about the death.
But you could say that it is good because it shows His great love for us. No greater love has anyone than this, that he lay down his life for a friend.
Well, if you are confused about all this "religion stuff" I would suggest you hit up a church on Easter. It is the super bowl for most pastors. And like the super bowl, many people come that don't care about it.
